Huntington Parish Council is looking for passionate individuals to join us in shaping the future of our community. We are particularly keen to welcome people with one or more of the following skills or interests:

  • A strong community mindset and a desire to improve local wellbeing

  • Understanding of environmental issues and sustainability

  • Background or interest in civil engineering or infrastructure

  • Enthusiasm for protecting and enhancing community amenities

  • Insight or experience in planning and development matters

 

As a parish councillor, you’ll have the opportunity to influence decisions that directly affect our community, help guide local initiatives, protect the environment, and improve amenities and services for everyone.

No prior experience in council work is required—what matters most is a commitment to the community and a willingness to contribute. Training and support will be provided to help you settle into your role and make the most of your contribution.
